In this collaborative workshop, Rachel Starbloom will take us on a journey to discover Mandalas through elemental art. We will gain an intuitive understanding of patterns, shapes and textures through the exploration of our various organic materials found in Nature. Special medicine teachings will be offered with particular elements that we’ll be using– including parts from various plants, flowers and trees.

Participants will be invited to co-create an intentional mandala in an act of presence and ephemeral beauty. Through interactive discovery and ceremonial play we’ll learn the way that the circle invites, with both matter and spirit, to play a role; to slow down, listen and allow the creative process to unfold in a conscious way.

As a final step, we’ll seal and release the mandala altar as it’s offered back to the land in a gesture of ultimate thanks for the earth's gifts.
